The Neuroblastoma Alliance website has been launched. Neuroblastoma is a rare form of childhood cancer. In the UK around a hundred children are diagnosed each year with this disease. The aim of the charity is to help raise money for the children's treatment as well as helping to fund research into this disease.

 

 

The Plaisir Project has launched. Its objective is to transpose the latest advances in plasmonics achieved in the visible to the mid-IR, where the potential for devices can impact two key areas: spectroscopic chemical sensing and smart, cheaper, mid-IR photodetectors. The term "plasmonics" refers to the investigation, development and application of enhanced electromagnetic properties of metallic (nano-) structures

 

 

The Jewish Book Week 2010 podcasts are now online: This year's event was the most successful ever, with sessions covering every topic imaginable: football, philosophy, mathematics, literature, the economic crisis, vegetarianism and polish literature to name but a few.

Limmud Podcasts are launched: Based in the UK, Limmud is a global leader in innovative, inclusive Jewish education. Founded over 25 years ago, they are best known for their annual winter Conference which attracts over 2,000 participants. Limmud commissioned us to create a website for hosting podcasts from their winter conference as well as podcasts from other recent events.

Its aim is to help parents find a Jewish school and make informed choices about their children’s education. It will also give pupils an insight into the school they could be attending.  It is a guide to the wonderful variety of provision available in Jewish schools.
