This new iPhone App will enable you to check the Kashrut status of Food, Alcohol, Cleaning Products and Medicines. The app includes a search feature as well as a directory of kosher institutions around the UK.

The Neuroblastoma Alliance website has been launched. Neuroblastoma is a rare form of childhood cancer. In the UK around a
hundred children are diagnosed each year with this disease. The aim of the charity is to help raise money for the children's treatment as well as helping to fund research into this disease.

The Plaisir Project has launched. Its objective is to transpose the latest advances in plasmonics achieved in the visible to
the mid-IR, where the potential for devices can impact two key areas:
spectroscopic chemical sensing and smart, cheaper, mid-IR
photodetectors. The term "plasmonics" refers to the investigation,
development and application of enhanced electromagnetic properties of
metallic (nano-) structures

Limmud Podcasts are launched: Based in the UK, Limmud is a global leader in innovative, inclusive
Jewish education. Founded over 25 years ago, they are best known for
their annual
winter Conference which attracts over 2,000 participants. Limmud
commissioned us to create a website for hosting podcasts from their
winter conference as well as podcasts from other recent events.

Active Plasmonics is launched: This is the home of the UK research programme on nanoplasmonics.
The
term 'plasmonics' refers to the science and technology dealing with
manipulation of electromagnetic signals by coherent coupling of photons
to free electron oscillations at the interface between a conductor and
a dielectric.
Findajewishschool.co.uk is launched: This site was created to provide parents with everything they need to
know about Jewish schools in one place. Its aim is to help parents find
a Jewish school and make informed choices about their children’s
education. It will also give pupils an insight into the school they
could be attending. It is a guide to the wonderful variety of
provision available in Jewish schools.
TrainE-TraidE.org.uk is launched: TrainE-TraidE is a Jewish Non-Profit organisation which was founded in
April 2006. Its aim is to empower individuals to maximise their earning
potential by providing a range of business, training and employment
services, through a personalised approach.

Flatsforum.co.uk is launched: a forum is for flat owners, landlords, managing agents, surveyors,
lawyers, accountants and other professionals working in the residential
property industry to discuss generally the most important issues
concerning flats such as: service charges, enfranchisement, lease
extensions, running a residents association, health and safety,
building maintenance and insurance.
