Website Designer

You will need the following:

• 2+ years overall experience in the web, multimedia, agency creative or graphic design industry;
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience (graphic design, interactive design etc.);
• Proven understanding of graphic design principles including layout, typography, and color theory;
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop
• A good understanding of website usability and be able to work with wireframes
  
• The ability to design concepts, mood-boards and mock-ups based on briefs and creative direction;
• An understanding of the limitations and possibilities of HTML, CSS, web typography, web browsers and adapt your designs accordingly
• Has attention to detail;
• The ability to work well under pressure;
• Familiarity with and adherence to web standards;
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people;
• Must be self-motivated, and able to multi-task;
• Must have the ability to see projects through from start to finish with minimal guidance;
• Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient;
• Must be able to function independently and still work well in a “team oriented” environment.
