The brief
The Jewish Historical Society of England is the oldest historical and learned society of its kind in Europe, founded in 1893. The society meets regularly with lectures on a wide range of subjects relating to Anglo Jewish history, and publishes its biennial transactions known as Jewish Historical Studies. We were asked to redesign their website - and make its printed journals, which go back to 1893, accessible online. We're talking about 12,000 pages!

The result
We converted 41 volumes into a searchable database that can be accessed by members. The admin suite also enables articles to be posted on online by the client. The website we built also contains a shopping cart facility enabling members to purchase the society's publications; and an events calendar that can be updated by the society's staff.
