Being completely blind to social media in the workplace, Danny's approach was very clear and informative which made it so easy to understand. Danny also gave great advice on maxamising the potencial of our website, all of which we are putting in to place and look forward to dealing with Danny in the future. Quote

The day I lost all faith in Google

Posted by Danny Bermant - 08 Aug 2011

I use Google Apps for my managing my email accounts. Until recently, I had a Google account separate from my Google Apps Account that I used for products like Reader and Analytics. I had several so called "conflicting" Accounts due to my use of the same email address for both Accounts.

Reducing the page loading times on your website will help your Google ranking

Posted by Danny Bermant - 19 Apr 2010

It was recently reported that Google has started ranking webpages by the speed with which they load.

With this in mind, we have just added a speed tool to our Content Management System so that external javascripts and css files get compressed and merged into just a couple of files. Overall, it reduces the number of requests on a web page by 4 and reduces the overall page size by around 20k. Not a huge difference you may think, but it could be enough to aid your search engine ranking. More importantly, a second or two improvement in the page loading speed could mean the difference between visitors seeing your home page and visitors giving up and going elsewhere.
